Mini-Devlog (and a new thumbnail!)


Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've given any major updates on the game.

As of the last month or so, I've been getting better at programming networked systems in games, organizing my project, getting back to coding new stuff for the game, and I've been spending a ton of time programming for a friends project (not able to talk about it quite yet, hopefully I can talk about it soon).


A couple of days ago, I've made a channel in my Discord server for the game that sends updates for whenever I make changes to the project. Feel free to join the server if you want updates like that, or if you want to test the game early (we're almost at 5,000 people!)

And as for the actual coding in the game, I've mostly been programming the main handling system for game modes: this includes the main story mode and custom night behaviour, and some extra modes I plan on adding in a future update. This, and I've been heavily reorganizing the project's code overall to make it more readable if I were to have other people work on it (or if I were to hypothetically add modding support to the game).

I want to try to get some YouTube videos out for the game before the start of this Fall, but I can't promise anything. Thank you all for your support on the game so far, and thank you all so much for being so patient.
