Claustrophobic Nights - Progress Devlog

Extras Menu

Recently, I've been planning out the extras menu for the game. I actually do plan on having quite a few things to do in it, rather than it just being a show and tell for a few select things.

New Audio System

I spent what was probably 5 days programming in a new system for adding effects onto audio, and so far it has worked very well. Basically, I can have effects volumes (box colliders) that have profiles on them that store info on what effects should be applied to effects members (audio sources) when entering the volume.

Still Reprogramming the Animatronics

I've been getting some decent progress on the reprogramming on the animatronics code. But along with this, I've discovered about 20 other things that can be optimized, so I've hopped on that as well.

Some of the other systems I've been working on reorganizing mostly have been the main player scripts, the main menu scripts, and the lobby/network function scripts. After this section of the programming is done, the game should be very close to release, and future updates will be easy to develop with cleaner code.

Release?

As of currently, I have no clue whether or not the game will come out this month. However, I do plan on getting the game out this Winter, which goes until March 19th, hopefully it won't take that long lol

Sorry again for the delays, I am the only person programming the game (aside from Decimals, the creator of FNaF: Forgotten Pizzeria, who has helped out a ton with network stuff, thanks a ton to him), and it hasn't been easy. I hope you guys are still excited!
